Great Gatsby Night
Join us for a fun-filled evening where we travel back to the 1920s. Delicious cocktails are always on the menu with drinks like the Bee’s Knees, the Sidecar Daisy, and Between the Sheets. Hear the wonderful stories and history behind each drink from this period.
There is a minimum of 10 guests for this evening, and we are able to accommodate parties of up to 14. Menus are available for appetizers or dinner. You can choose for your group to be served hearty appetizers, an open menu, or a five-course dinner of several recipes that were in vogue in the 1920s as well as some modern adaptations.
Whiskey Tasting for Whiskey Lovers
Learn 5 of Michelle’s favorite ways to drink whiskey. This event includes the Frisco Toddy, Mint Julep, Bourbonette Cocktail, Future Fix, and a Whiskey Flip.
Coffee Drinks Tasting
Sip on five delicious coffee-based drinks that will have you thinking that coffee isn’t just for breakfast: Black Russian Sling, Espresso Choco’latini, Jazzy Ladies Delight, Coffee Grog, and a Hard Chocolate Java Milkshake. Michele will even teach you how to make the original Irish Cream!
Whiskey Cocktail Night
Evening includes samples of the Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail, the Barney Cocktail, Whiskey Cocktail, Zazarack, and the Manhattan Cocktail.
Gin Tasting Night
Taste three different types of gin and three drinks made from these liquors: the Genever Cocktail, the Martinez Cocktail, and the New Amsterdam Winter Fix.
Whiskey Tasting Night
Another way to taste six different types of whiskey. Start with Irish whiskey and Scotch, then move on to different American whiskeys like Rye, Bourbon, and Wheated Bourbon. Learn how the different products are made and how these techniques and ingredients affect the flavor of the whiskey.
History of the Gin Martini Tasting Night
What is the history behind this drink that has become a modern genre? Sample several gin-based martinis: the Martinez, the Martini Cocktail, the Good Times Cocktail, the Gibson Sling, and the Paul Bunyan.
Negroni Tasting Night
We will have fun playing with variations of the beloved Negroni. We will start with the more well-known Camparinette Cocktail and the Boulevardier Cocktail. Then we will move south of the border with a Paloma Negroni and further south with the Jamaican Negroni.
Tequila Tasting Night
Sample three different types of Tequila and three drinks made from these liquors: the Corazón de Agave Cocktail, the Margarita Daisy, and the Paloma.
Not Your Grandma’s Punch
We will make five different types of punch: Original Lemon Drop, Mississippi Punch, Famous Rum Punch, a traditional Whiskey Sour, and Falernum Punch.
Summer Drink Tasting
Enjoy an evening of lighter tasting, refreshing drinks: Basil Gin Julep, Mojito Collins, Press Club Collins, Mai Tai, and the Cosmopolitan Daisy.
